A small mountainous country in Central Asia, the population is 6 million people. Most of them are located in valleys and big cities. It is the capital of the country – Bishkek city in the Chui Valley, Osh city and Jalal-Abad city in the Fergana Valley, the Issyk-Kul Basin and the Talas Valley.

All the rest – it’s mountains. The mountains are high and wild, sometimes hard to reach, and unpredictable. But very beautiful and diverse. The mountains are the main property of Kyrgyzstan and the bulk of tourists come here because of the mountains. There are two great mountain systems. The first is Tien-Shan Mountains with the highest points Pobeda peak (7439 m) and Khan-Tengri peak (6995 m). Another one is the Pamir Mountains with Lenin Peak (7134 m). These peaks are very popular among climbers of the whole world. Other mountain adventures are also very interesting in Kyrgyzstan.  These are such as tracking, biking, rafting, jeeping, ski touring, climbing, etc. It should be noted mountain lake Issyk-Kul. It is located at an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level, surrounded by mountain ranges. In summer, people from different countries come here for swimming in clear water and relaxing on the sandy beaches.

Kyrgyzstan is bordered by Kazakhstan to the north, Uzbekistan to the west and southwest, Tajikistan to the southwest, and China to the east.

The climate varies regionally. The low-lying Fergana Valley in the southwest is subtropical and extremely hot in summer, with temperatures reaching 40°C.  The Aksai Valley is a pole of cold with winter temperatures of -50°C. East Issyk-Kul is one of the most humid areas. And only 100 km to the west, in the same Issyk-Kul basin, precipitation is very rare.

Fauna and flora are very rich and diverse. This is due to several climatic zones at different altitudes. From wild animals, you can see goats, Marco Polo sheep, bears, wild boar, snow leopard, wolf, birds of prey.  Of course, many, foxes, marmots, hares, and other small animals.

There are also historical monuments in Kyrgyzstan. The most ancient are petroglyphs, burial mounds, and ancient settlements. Then there was the Great Silk Road, where you can see the towers, mausoleums dated to the V-XV centuries. Also modern historical monuments – churches and mosques.
